It's Official: We're Engaged

Yes, that's what you think it is!

After countless meals, Bryan finally convinced YiRan to marry him, and we're now happily engaged! It's not clear if it was the corn pesto, the lobster spaghetti, or the many versions of enchiladas that finally tipped the scales in Bryan's favor. Regardless, we had a wonderful weekend together, and at the end of the weekend got to spent time with our great friends who were all extremely supportive. We're very lucky!

For those of you interested - Bryan popped the question Saturday afternoon in Central Park. It was in the gazebo right next to the Bow Bridge. YiRan was not at all surprised (but in a good way!). Afterwards, we were driven over to a champagne and chocolate bar where two of YiRan's friends were waiting to congratulate her (which was a surprise to her!). Finally, we had dinner at YiRan's favorite restaurant, Esca, where we dined on some delicious pasta and great desert.
